Mr.Sanjit Rodrigues – Director of Industries, Trade and Commerce has formally inaugurated one day Technical seminar on “Current Technical Challenges in Manufacturing and Leadership roles” for the technical personnel and scientists across pharmaceutical industries in Goa. He called up on Industries to utilize such training programs to update the knowledge of their staff to remain competitive in International Markets where India has major player in providing for cheap highest quality generic formulations to various countries in EU and US. He also highlighted the needs of environmental protection by adoption of rain water harvesting and other techniques.

Mr.Salim Veljee also stressed upon the standards required by the companies to meet the ever growing challenges from International Regulatory Authorities and stressed that such training programs shall give long way to update knowledge and overcome the same.

Dr.Premnath Shenoy, Director, Regulatory Affairs from Astra Zeneca, Mr.Subodh Priolkar from Colorcon Asia, Mr. Navin Lakhanpaul from GEA Pharma Systems have presented for the technical sessions. Mr.Vasudev Valaulikar highlighted on “Lead your Life” for the management session.
