 Here is how you can Protect yourselves from fake medicines:-

1. Buy your medicines only from authorized/licensed pharmacies dispensed under the personal supervision of a registered pharmacist.
2. All ways insist on a cash memo/bill and check whether the batch number, expiry, manufacturing company details tally with that on the medicine.
3. Do not be tempted to buy medicines which are being offered at discounts. They could be fake!
4.  Check the medicines you buy, carefully for any defacements, spoilages, defects etc.
